Mayfield Alpacas
Established in 1999 by Elaine Sharp, Mayfield Alpacas is situated on the outskirts of Sheffield with its Westerly entrance bordering the Peak District National Park.
Located in outstandingly beautiful countryside and yet within easy reach of Sheffield. Mayfield Alpacas has been developed by Elaine to become one of the leading Alpaca visitor attractions in the country. Elaine has won national business awards and has been featured on national television and radio, including Countryfile, BBC local radio and BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour.
Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk around the site with information and signage along the way. The onsite visitor centre serves a selection of hot and cold food and drinks in a unique and special setting. In addition to the outside animals there are also a number of indoor animals on display.
The story of how Elaine built this business is so unique that in 2015 Elaine was invited to publish her story by a leading publisher. Her autobiography "Fight for your Dream" is available on Amazon in both paperback and EBook formats and from www.fightforyourdream.co.uk
