Situated to the North of Ringinglow Village, on the outskirts of Sheffield, Mayfield Alpacas is the centre of excellence for the UK Alpaca industry. Our selective breeding programme concentrates exclusively on the finest quality Peruvian Alpaca stock.
Extending for over 45 acres within the beautiful Mayfield Valley, Mayfield Alpacas is a popular attraction for all. Our Visitor Centre is both educational and informative and traces the history of the Alpaca from the Incas through to present day commercial fleece production.
School and group visits can always be accommodated with children and adults being fascinated and enchanted by these delightful animals and the story behind them.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks, light snacks and cakes are served in the Visitor Centre. A selection of gifts is also available, including our own range of clothing, spun exclusively from the very highest quality fleeces farmed at Mayfield Alpacas.
If you have already visited us, please sign our guestbook to let us know what you think!
